Our services

Dentistry for pets

At Kingsclere Vets, we are passionate about looking after your pet’s teeth. Dental hygiene is a very important part of your pet’s overall health however it is notoriously overlooked in companion animals. We all know how awful toothache can be – and this is no different for our animals.

Our nurses can offer routine dental check ups and advise on how you can look after your pet’s teeth at home, as well as recommend dental procedures if needed in the clinic.

We have invested heavily in a state-of-the-art dental suite, designed by specialists and equipped with instant dental x-ray, meaning we can perform dental scale and polishes as well as tooth removals as quickly and painlessly as possible.

FAQ

How long will my pet need to stay in for?

Dental check-ups are usually day procedures, unless your pet has concurrent illnesses or complications, in which case we may advise a night’s stay for extra monitoring. Your vet or nurse will advise you during booking.

How much does dental treatment cost?

We are running a fixed pricing structure across procedures to make budgeting easier for you, meaning no varying estimates to worry about.

Your vet will be able to advise you which category your pet will require. Included in the fixed price are any intravenous fluids, blood work or dental’s x-rays your pet may require. There are no hidden extras.
